Committees

The council has three primary committees:

Communication: This committee is responsible for production of a newsletter, membership surveys, facilitating the sharing of information and expertise among Council members and establishing a liaison with other organizations and associations.
Education: This committee is responsible for the content, planning of Council conferences, developing training programs for Authority board members, staff and executive directors, and developing education programs for borrowers, legislators, regulators and the general public.
Advocacy: The responsibilities of this committee include the establishment of a general advocacy philosophy, the development of a prioritized agenda for the legislative initiatives, and the development of Council and member liaisons with Congress.

Other active committees include finance, by-laws, strategic planning, convention, membership, nominating, disclosure, rating agency/enhancement, long term care, rural healthcare and Multi-State Issuance.
